We recreate the unique towels from classical paintings depicting the Turkish baths. The tantalizing 1890 painting by one of the legendary orientalist painters, the grand master Gerome, comes from the most incandescent times of the Orient. The amazing peshtemals weaved based on this special painting depicting a Turkish bath will allure you with the soft sheen of pure natural Turkish cotton.
We crafted the beautiful peshtemals on the painting with the same weaving techniques that were used centuries ago. We use a special thread blend acquired from local growers across Turkish villages that is composed of 12 different kinds of cotton, each carrying different characteristics determined by the climate of the producing region. The inimitable threads we call The Essential Blend give the peshtemals of the Essentials collection incredible softness, marvelous hang and an exceptional feel.
RETURN & EXCHANGE
We accept returns within 30 days of receipt of shipment except for products with different policies or requirements as stated here or in the product description.
Returns for orders valued at $100 or more need to be insured for the value of the merchandise and shipped with a signature shipping service. A trackable shipping service has to be used for items over $35. For items below $35, USPS delivery confirmation service is recommended. If the buyer refuses the shipment, doesn’t use a trackable method, or if the package doesn’t arrive, the return might not be covered under our guarantee.
We do not accept returns or exchanges for products that have customization options unless the products are damaged or defective upon arrival.
All product packaging (such as boxes) and if applicable; certificates of authenticity, grading, and appraisal must be returned with the item. Products missing all their applicable tags are not acceptable for return.
We do not accept returns from outside of the USA.
