This kit has a beginner in mind! Learn the technique of twined basketry! These instructions will teach you how to twine a small basket. Twining is a basketry method where two or more horizontal weavers twist around vertical spokes. Generally, the materials used for twining weavers are soft and flexible while the spokes can be more rigid. Baskets as well as rugs, mats, sacks, and clothing can be constructed with the twining technique. Basketry requires patience and perseverance. Keep at it and you will be proud of your new skills and finished basket.
