Wicker weaving is common to many cultures worldwide. It is the interweaving of plant materials through a framework of other plant materials. Honeysuckle baskets were made with chase weaving a technique of wickerwork in which two weavers of different colors chase each other in alternate weaving rounds over an even number of flat splints.
