This kit is intended for advanced skill levels; someone who has already made a beginner coiled basket. This basket will take approximately 24 hours to complete and it is recommended to stitch in several sessions, taking frequent breaks. Coiling is a basketry method where one material is wrapped around another in a spiral. Generally, the materials used for wrapping are soft and flexible while the coil can be a bit more rigid.
These instructions will teach you how to coil a shallow tray shaped basket with the design of a maze – Unicursal Labyrinth. The instructions include interesting facts about maze symbolism and importance. Basketry requires patience and perseverance. Keep at it and you will be proud of your improved skills and finished basket.

For gift with purchase orders (GWP), the free gift would need to be returned with the purchased item in order to receive a full refund. If the item is damaged in transit, please contact us and note any visible damages (scrapes, dents, etc.) or operationally damaged (the system will not work), take the digital photographs and provide us with proof of the damage in detail as this will assist us in processing your order refund.
